Vaccinated Older Adults Experience Fewer COVID-Associated Hospitalizations - Provider Magazine

CDC says that among adults aged 65-74 years old, effectiveness of full vaccination in preventing COVID-19-associated hospitalizations was 96 percent for the Pfizer vaccine, 96 percent for Moderna, and 84 percent for Johnson & Johnson/Janssen. For people 75 years old and over, effectiveness was 91 percent for Pfizer, 96 percent for Moderna, and 85 percent for J&J/Janssen.

Laurel Health Care Company, 8181 Worthington Road, Westerville, Ohio 43082 has just acquired Heath Nursing Care Center located at 717 South 30th Street, Heath, OH 43056. Laurel Health Care Company will be changing the name of the center to reflect the new ownership. Heath Nursing Care Center will be named "The Laurels of Heath". "Because the center has been such a long standing provider in the Heath community, we felt that it was important to select a name that reflects familiarity and at the same time made the association to their new parent company," said AJ Stout, Regional Director of Operations for Laurel Health Care Company.
