The Laurels of Heath is very pleased that many surgeons and attending physicians follow their patients at our facility.
If your physician does not have admitting privileges, our Medical Director or other attending physician will be happy to oversee your care while you are staying with us. If you have any questions regarding your physician coverage, please don't hesitate to contact us at (740) 522-1171. We can assist you to ensure that you will have physician coverage.

Dr. Pierson obtained both his bachelor’s degree and doctor of medicine degree from The Ohio State University. Shortly after earning his degree in medicine, he began his journey as medical director for healthcare facilities throughout Ohio.
In 1998, he received the OHCA Award for Personal Excellence in Medicine. He was also selected five times as one of America’s Top Family Doctors by Consumer’s Research Council of America.
Throughout the years, Dennis has been an integral part of both local and national professional medical societies. He is also an active member of the community as evident through his local contributions to the March of Dimes, Helping Hands Home Health Agency, American Red Cross, and many more organizations.
Dennis is excited to leverage his vast medical experience and be a leader within Theoria Medical in his current role as medical director with The Laurels of Heath.

Rakesh Vadde, MD, FCCP pursued his MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Davangere, India and completed his pulmonary medicine fellowship at Interfaith Medical Center in New York City.
In 2018, Dr. Vadde was recognized as “Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians” for his active role and continued dedication in advancing the fields of chest medicine and critical care where he continues to demonstrate excellence, dedication, and leadership.
Bio Dr. Raju Fatehchand graduated from Madras Medical College, University of Madras, in Madras, lndia. His residency was completed at Highland Hospital/University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York. He is board certified in internal medicine. He is a member of the Fellow of American College of Physicians, and is on the American Board of Palliative and Hospice Care. He is also certified in controlled substance (Subuxone) prescription.
His professional goal is to compassionately provide efficient and effective primary medical care and service to patients and the community.
